St. Paul AABRN/Sears Site Active Transportation Plan
The Asian American Business Resilience Network (AABRN) is developing an active transportation action plan for the Sears Redevelopment Project. The plan will identify next steps to make walking, biking, and rolling safer and more accessible within and around the site. The action planning process will also include implementation support, such as technical assistance or a demonstration project.
The plan will assess existing conditions and desired connections in and around the site to address barriers and support sustainable mobility, with a focus on reconnection and serving community needs. Through the Sears Redevelopment Project, AABRN hopes to transform the car-centric Sears lot into a vibrant, community-centered space that supports diverse transportation modes and encourages healthier lifestyles for those living and working near the site.
