The City of Saint Anthony Village is developing an active transportation action plan. The plan will include key steps to make walking, biking, and rolling around the city safer and more comfortable. The planning team is working together to develop a vision and goals for the plan. The Action Planning process will also include implementation support, such as technical assistance or demonstration project support.

Despite Saint Anthony Village being 2.5 square miles in area—which should be conducive to convenient walking, biking, and rolling—residents have reported feeling unsafe using active transportation and often choose to utilize a personal motor vehicle. This Active Transportation Action Plan aims to improve active transportation infrastructure to enhance access and safety for people of all ages and abilities. With focused engagement on vulnerable populations, this plan will identify key barriers, desired destinations, and strategic safety modifications.

We need your help

We need your help identifying how we might make walking, biking, and rolling (i.e., using other mobility devices like scooters and wheelchairs) a safer, more accessible and enjoyable option in Saint Anthony Village. We welcome your input and look forward to our active transportation future.
