Public comment period

The official public comment period for Rethinking I-94 is not yet open. Please check back for more details and updates.


We will take comments on the Scoping Document/Draft Scoping Decision Document (SD/DSDD) and the Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) when they are officially published for public comment. We anticipate this to occur late 2025/early 2026. The public comment period will be open for 60 days.

How to provide public comment

There will be several ways to comment during the official comment period. Those interested in providing their input can:

  1. Fill out the online comment form that will be posted on this project webpage.
  2. Attend the in-person public meeting and fill out a form at the meeting or speak with a court reporter. The location of this public meeting will be posted on this project webpage, and advertised in the Environmental Quality Board Monitor and newspapers.
  3. Pick up a printed comment form at any time during the official public comment period. Printed comment forms will be available at select library locations and MnDOT offices. A printed copy of the SD/DSDD and EAW will be available to review. Mail the completed comment form to MnDOT.
