The Minnesota GO Vision is a long-range transportation vision that guides how we plan for the various ways people and goods move around our state. The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) leads this effort, and the vision is for all people and anyone with a role in implementing transportation. This vision was first created in 2011 and looks ahead 50 years to help transportation serve everyone for generations.
After a year of public and stakeholder engagement, we have a draft updated vision statement and guiding principles. Please review and comment on the draft vision statement below. Click on the image or here for a larger version. The public comment period is open until May 31st.
The updated Minnesota GO Vision is a result of a year-long collaboration with the public, stakeholders and partners. Engagement involved more than 2,000 interactions with Minnesotans including in-person community events, online surveys and presentations.
