Hwy 52 — Pine Island to Oronoco construction

In 2028, Hwy 52 will receive improvements from Hwy 52 from near the Hwy 60 interchange to north of Oronoco.

The work includes:

• Resurface southbound Highway 52
• Construct a new frontage road to help with safety and access
• Replace a culvert bridge north of Pine Island
• Raise southbound Highway 52 to reduce the risk of flooding near the middle fork of the Zumbro River
• Minor bridge repair work to the 5^th St NW bridge over Highway 52 in Oronoco

We will continue to pursue funding opportunities for other improvements with our local partners. Including:

• We want to raise northbound lanes near the middle fork of the Zumbro River to reduce the risk of flooding.
• We want to build snow fencing along Highway 52 to prevent drifting and blowing snow.
