Hwy 52 — Pine Island to Oronoco construction
In 2006, we completed the Hwy 52 Pine Island Subarea study. The study was a partnership with Olmsted and Goodhue Counties, and the Cities of Oronoco and Pine Island. View full-size mapThe 2006 study looked at access to Hwy 52 and identified land for future improvements. Some parts examined in the study did not receive funds for construction.
In 2021, we began a new study. We're working with the public, communities and others to identify transportation improvements. The information will help us and our partners develop plans for future construction. Those plans will help determine where to spend future funding. Again, not all plans from the study will receive funding or get constructed.
