The City of North Mankato is developing an active transportation action plan. The plan will include key next steps to make walking, biking, and rolling safer and more comfortable. The planning team is working together to develop a vision and goals for the plan. The action planning process will also include support for a demonstration project.

Through the planning process, North Mankato is working to address the barriers posed by highways and key network gaps between community destinations. By engaging users of all abilities, parents, and the full diversity of city residents, this active transportation plan will collaboratively imagine a future where all can safely walk, bike, or roll across North Mankato and beyond.
