Hwy 7 & Hwy 22 - Cedar Mills Intersection Study

MnDOT will be conducting an Intersection Control Evaluation study in 2026 for the intersection of Highway 7 and Highway 22, just east of Cedar Mills.

At this time, there is no funding or construction planned for this intersection. The study will help MnDOT understand safety issues and how traffic works today, explore different ways the intersection could be improved, and hear from the community about local needs and concerns.

The goals of this study include:

• Gathering feedback about issues with current conditions
• Developing potential intersection alternatives
• Identifying future improvement needs
• Informing long‑term planning and programming
