How do you use Hwy 59 in Thief River Falls? The safety of all who use this corridor is a growing concern. Could improvements be made that would provide a safer experience for all modes of transportation?

To answer that question, the City of Thief River Falls and MnDOT are conducting a planning study. The study seeks to evaluate the potential improvement options available to improve pedestrian and vehicle safety, address stormwater drainage issues, and the poor pavement condition from approximately 1st St. E. to the southern City limits (155th St. NE).
