Map of project area. Orage indicates stretches of the project area. Red dots are intersections.View full-sized imageWe are planning improvements along Highway 52 in Rochester from 75th St to the Mayowood Rd Bridge. These improvements will help sidewalks, curb ramps, trails, and other walking areas meet current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards so people of all abilities can travel safely.

Our work will include repairing curb ramps, fixing damaged sidewalks and trails, removing trip hazards, and improving access at intersections and connections to nearby roads.

MnDOT is working with the City of Rochester and Olmsted County to make sure the project meets community needs, keeps important walking and biking routes in place, and supports safe and accessible travel along and across Highway 52.
