• Curb does not provide much value through undeveloped/wooded portions

• Provides sidewalk connection between Carlton Place/apartments and downtown Carlton

• Provides opportunity for ADA improvements at Maple Ave.

• Requires reworking parking and driveways

• Shorter crossing for pedestrians
• Improved sightlines between vehicles and pedestrians

• Loss of some parking on Hwy 45 by Courthouse
• Requires coordination for snow clearing
• Challenges at Maple in current condition with no curb
