Crookston Active Transportation Plan Survey

Crookston is working to expand safe and convenient walking and bicycling options in town by creating an Active Transportation Master Plan. The Plan will identify short- to long-term opportunities to advance active transportation in the city.

To create a Plan that works for Crookston’s residents, we want to learn about the way you move today and how we might make walking, biking, and rolling (e.g. other mobility devices like scooters or wheelchairs) a safer, more accessible, and enjoyable option in the future.

The City of Crookston in partnership with MnDOT, collected substantial public input on Robert St, Main St, and Broadway St as part of the Hwy 2 corridor study and improvements for walking and biking will be implemented with that project starting in 2027. Given this previous public input and the upcoming improvements, the city of Crookston is now focused on collecting input on walking, biking, and rolling in the city on roads other than Robert St, Main St, and Broadway St in downtown.
