The Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa (FDL) and MnDOT are partnering to replace the Moorhead Road bridge over I-35. The bridge is a vital connection point for the entire Cloquet and Carlton communities, serving commuter routes, local commerce, Black Bear Casino, and the Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College. The new bridge will include a shared-use path to serve pedestrians and other non-motorized users and will incorporate aesthetic features with design led by FDL.
